The Burning Bowl Service is your opportunity to learn how to the release the past, forgive yourself and others, and create the life you desire.
Christ Universal Temple is excited for what’s to come in 2025! While this ceremony is best experienced in the Temple, you may participate in-person and live via Facebook (CUTemple) and YouTube (cutemple).
We have outlined procedures for submitting your Letter to God and your Letter to Release/Burn to support you having an optimal experience. All options are no touch no contact.
DROPPING OFF LETTERS
Letters may be dropped off at Christ Universal Temple beginning Sunday, December 8, 2024. Please mark your letters appropriately by denoting RELEASE or GOD on the respective envelopes. Drop your letters off at the Receptionist Desk. The building hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and Sunday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
MAILING IN LETTERS
Letters may be mailed to Christ Universal Temple. Please be mindful and make the necessary concessions by mailing your letters by Monday, December 30, 2024. Please include a return address and mark your letters appropriately by denoting RELEASE or GOD on the respective envelopes. Upon receipt, your letters will be placed in the appropriate receptacle. Please mail letters to: Christ Universal Temple c/o Burning Bowl Service 11901 S. Ashland Ave, Chicago, IL 60643.
SUBMITTING LETTERS ONLINE
Letters may be submitted online anytime before 3:00PM CST on Friday, January 3, 2025. Simply click on the link below and type your RELEASE and/or TO GOD letter(s) in the appropriate box. The CUT Prayer Ministry Team will place it in the appropriate receptacle. Be sure to include a return address with your letter to God. Submit what you choose to let go for inclusion in our ceremony. We will lift your intention in prayer and release it to the flames!
Letters may be submitted online below. Simply type your RELEASE and GOD letters in the appropriate boxes below. If you want to participate in our mid-year prayer and affirmation in support of your intention, include your name and email address when submitting your GOD letter.
Letter for Release
Write a letter indicating ALL that you desire to release from your life and affairs. This can include doubt, fear, criticism, judgment, condemnation; as well as erroneous beliefs in poverty, age, sin, sickness, disease, and death. Release and let go of all the negative aspects in your life and your affairs.
A Letter to God
Cleansing is important, but we must replace the negatives with the positives; thus, the importance of writing a letter to God. Write a letter to God listing your goals and your dreams. Be certain to make the letter positive, not maybe or if. For with the Spirit of Christ in charge, all things are possible.
